COR / SECOR

Audit readiness shouldn’t begin the month before the audit.

Orientra holds the audit instrument as something the system can actually execute — elements, questions and points — and measures the evidence you hold against it all year.

This is the documentation leg only. Observation and interview are the auditor's other two techniques and are not scored here. Orientra does not tell you that you will pass.

Evidence collected by doing the work

An inspection completed on a job is evidence. A toolbox talk on a site is evidence. A corrective action verified by a supervisor is evidence. Orientra maps each record to the elements it satisfies at the moment it is created.

Which means the month before the audit is not a scramble to assemble documents. It is a review of what you already have.

Audit readiness becomes a result of operating the safety system properly — not a scramble to assemble documents afterward.

What Orientra can honestly tell you

It can tell you this

  • Which elements have documentation and which do not
  • How many records support each element, and which records they are
  • Which findings are open, overdue, or waiting on verification
  • Which documents have not been acknowledged by the people they apply to
  • Which competencies and tickets have expired or are about to
  • What is outstanding, named, with a link to the thing that fixes it

It will not tell you this

  • That you are “98% COR certifiable”
  • What score an auditor will give you
  • That documentation coverage means you will pass
  • Anything at all about the observation and interview components

Documentation is one of three techniques an auditor uses. Presenting a document count as a certification prediction is the single most misleading thing safety software does, and Orientra is built not to do it.

Built for the Manitoba market first

Orientra is built in Winnipeg, against the instrument Manitoba employers are actually audited on, with the province’s own regulation as the reference point. Support for other provinces follows real customers, not a map on a marketing slide.

On the program content Orientra ships: the starting safety program and legislative references are drafted to Manitoba regulation and the provincial instrument, and they are a starting point for your program — not a substitute for your own review. Your program has to describe your company.
