Safety programs

A safety program your people have actually read.

Policies, safe work practices, safe job procedures and emergency plans in one place, with revisions, approvals and a record of who has read what.

A binder on a shelf isn’t a safety program

An auditor can tell the difference between a program that was written once and one that is in use. So can your crew.

Orientra turns the program into something that runs: who is responsible, when the next review is due, who has acknowledged the latest revision, and what needs attention this week.

What goes in it

  • Safe work practices and safe job procedures

Common questions

Do we have to write our safety program from scratch?

No. Orientra includes a starting safety program, and you make it describe your company.

Can we use our own wording?

Yes. Edit what is there or write your own policies and procedures. They get the same revision, approval and acknowledgement tracking.

How do we prove workers have read a procedure?

A document can require acknowledgement from the people it applies to. Orientra shows who has acknowledged the current revision and who has not.

What happens when a document changes?

A new revision goes through approval, and earlier revisions are kept, so you can show which version was in force on any date.

Put your safety program to work.

Try it for 45 days with your own company, no card required, or book a demonstration built around your work.
